A (Semi) Normal Student

I realize I haven't updated this in a while... oops...

I've been doing a lot of work recently.  One of my final exam papers is due this Thursday.  It's so weird to think that the semester is almost over.  It's gone by so fast!  This week is actually my last week of classes!  It's starting to sink in that I'll be leaving Australia in about a month...

This past weekend was really nice, and I spent quite a bit of it outside.  I went to the Australian Beer Festival in downtown Sydney.  There were stalls of many Australian brewers where you could taste Australian made beers and ciders.  It was cool seeing everything that is authentically Australian!
The beer festival
I also went to the campus museum to see a Lego Colosseum.  It was really impressive!  Everything was made of Lego pieces with Lego people.  The Colosseum was actually split down the middle and one side was what it would've looked like when they held tournaments there (there was even a man feeding an animal and skeletons underneath) and the other side was the present day ruins with tourists walking around.

And for some exciting news... my dad comes to visit on Thursday!!

Random Fact:
This is the Australian currency, called the Australian Dollar.  The bills are 100, 50, 20, 10 and 5.  The two gold coins are $2 and $1 (the $1 is the bigger one).  The silver coins are 50, 20, 10, and 5 cents.  Australia does not have a penny; when you buy things the cashier will round your order to the nearest 5 cents.
